I just discovered an great bit of relief for those of us tired of fighting the Draconian regulations imposed by DRM (Digital Rights Management). It’s called Free DRM and it will reclaim your tunes and videos.
The name indicates that it will free you of the DRM bugaboo, not that the software is free, but for just $20 ($30 for the high-speed version) you can unlock all that music you’ve gone to the trouble to find.
If, like me, you have thousands of tunes you have already paid for but now can’t enjoy you owe it to yourself to check them out.
It’s been a long time since I posted anything here but it’s time I got back to it.
A quick catch-up; right now I’m looking for a job again, have been since last Christmas. I’ve just about decided that for whatever reason(s) I’m unemployable in my home town. Sooooo, if I can’t find a job I have to make one. At 61 years old I’m trying to start a new career as a freelance writer.
The headline reads “British Army Stands Down In Northern Ireland“.
After 38 years they’re leaving. The longest engagement in the ancient history of the British army.
In terms of things I hardly dared hope to live long enough to witness
are all about the same.
As Paul Simon says, “these are days of miracle and wonder.”
There used to be a common saying that “Everybody talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it”
Boy, did we make a lie out of that! We’ve not only done something about the weather but we’ve downright ruined it. Those apologists and assholes who contend that Global Warming is some kind of liberal plot should be forced to live next to the ocean.
Our weather in north Florida has been excellent this year. We’ve had April weather right up to the beginning of July. Elsewhere there have only been six tropical weather systems in waters adjacent to the US. They’re having a terrible time in Asia but not here and I have a theory on that that I might as well put into print.
I finally gave myself access as AllenR.
Now I don’t have to go thru that

In a Giant Leap toward the Middle Ages today his Papal Immensity, Benedict the Clueless has pulled the catholic church back from the edge of pedophilic grace by dissing every other organized religion on the planet.
Once again we’ve successfully changed servers. I guess it gets easier with practice but doing it every seven or eight years hardly counts as practice.
Here we go again, starting another blog. This time though, we’re on a new server; InMotion Hosting out of Los Angeles. I’ll probably go into great detail about why I left Globat some day, but not today.
Welcome to my blog. I hope you’ll find time to respond and make this a dialog of some kind.
